Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my website uses Joomla 4?
The checker reads the generator meta tag, /media/system/ assets and /components/com_* URLs. Joomla often hides its exact version.
Is it dangerous to keep using Joomla 4 after support ends?
Without support, new vulnerabilities are not officially fixed, so the risk grows over time. It does not mean the site is compromised today.
How do I update Joomla?
Joomla major upgrades use the built-in update component or a dedicated migration extension; extensions and templates must be compatible.
